Daghan Karaali added a goal and an assist for Minerva/Newcomb. Trevor Moulton finished with an assist.

Nate Prouty scored the lone goal for Johnsburg. Moses Mulvey added the assist.

Alex Ruzbacki turned away 11 shots for the win in goal. Ty Berg made 18 saves in the loss.

WILLSBORO — Miles Lussi scored two goals, while Andrew Meister added one goal and one assist in the Blue Bombers’ shutout win.

“Lake Placid did a very nice job possessing and moving the ball with control (Tuesday),” Willsboro coach Andrew Lee said. “They were able to keep Willsboro’s defense off-balance with their ball movement. Lake Placid has a good team, and they showed it (Tuesday).”

Nzoni Thompson also scored for the Blue Bombers. Alex Brandes added the assist on the play.

CHATEAUGAY — Hannah Cook was the star as the Bulldogs (5-0) rolled in a six-goal drubbing of the Yellowjackets.

Cook, a senior, accumulated two goals and two assists Tuesday.

“So far, we’re playing well this year,” Chateaugay coach Steve Lang said. “Courtney Yando, Brianna Cook, Rachel Young and Sam Lobdell all did a great job for us (Tuesday).”
