By BOB LOETTERLE Contributing Writer

---- — MASSENA — J.P. Reagan ran for 97 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Massena Red Raiders past the Franklin Academy Huskies 21-0 Friday in Northern Athletic Conference football.

After the two squads battled to a scoreless first half, a blocked Malone punt by Massena’s Connor Paquin gave the Red Raiders great field position at the Huskie 17. Three plays later, Reagan was in the end zone on a five-yard run though the left side. Reagan also kicked all three extra points.

A Huskie fumble deep in the zone also led to the second Reagan score, a seven-yard run with just under two minutes left in the third period. The Huskies committed a total of six turnovers in the game on three fumbles and three interceptions.

Reagan wrapped up the scoring with a nine yard run with just over a minute left.

Jake Perry led the Huskies in rushing with 49 yards while Zach Raymond had 69 receiving on two catches. Camron Gallagher passed for 69 yards, going two for seven with two interceptions.

Also Friday night, Ogdensburg pounded Canton 46-6 and Tupper Lake nipped St. Lawrwence Central 30-28.
