Preston's 641 series leads Pats over Chiefs

PLATTSBURGH — Roger Preston bowled a 641 series, helping the AuSable Valley boys’ bowling team to a 10-0 defeat of Saranac Monday in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling.

Noah Martineau (216-211-213-640), Josh Taylor (219-212-199-630) and Charlie Lacy (214-201-209-624) each eclipsed the 600 mark for the Patriots.

Chris Fall tossed a 577 series, while Nick Dorrance (186-486), Dalton Exford (168-475) and Matt Fall (186-470) were also notable contributors.

Taylor Duquette (136-387) helped the Chiefs secure a 3-1 victory on the girls’ side. Anna Dorrance (117-315) also played an important role in the win.

Shania Malskis (107-293) and Savanah Sears (145-289) were standouts for AuSable Valley.

PLATTSBURGH — Jonathan Bowman continued to burn up the lanes, following up his 811 series with a 762 showing, helping the Indians to an 8-3 defeat of the Sentinels.

Kyle Mendofik rolled a 215-207-213-635, while Aaryn Clark added a 455 series.

Konner Bruce (203-194-191-588) and Cole Frasier (214-198-568) paced Ticonderoga.

On the girls’ side, Peru was able to register a 3-1 win to complete the sweep.

Karri Kusalonis tossed a 555 series, while Abbey Boudrieau (163-169-171-503) was also a standout.

The Sentinels were led by Lucy LaPeter (166-172-182-520) and Jeanette Coon (185-184-489).

WILLSBORO — Derek Petro (154-197-138-489) was the x-factor in the Vikings’ 10-0 blanking of the Warriors.

Tom Rancour (162-147-147-456) and Joe Rodriguez (145-144-416) also bowled well for Moriah.

Marshall Steeves paced Willsboro with games of 155, 145 and 168, good for a 468 series.

Behind Gabriel Yeager’s 525 series, the Warriors were able to record a 4-0 blanking over the Vikings.

Carle Newton showed the way for Moriah, firing a 335 series.
