Lauren Cross was a third Moriah player in double figures with 10. The Vikings shot 17-of-24 from the charity stripe.

Moriah broke out to a 15-2 lead in the first quarter.

Julianna Matos was the leading scorer for the Blue Bombers with four points.

CROWN POINT — The Lions jumped out to a commanding 26-6 lead at the half and used pressure defense to solidify the victory.

Shonna Brooks had a game-high 14 points, while fellow junior Lily Whalen had 13 markers.

“They’re a strong team and they played well throughout,” Panthers coach Kevin Peters said. “They had nine different scorers and have plenty of depth. They were pressing and jumped out to an early first-quarter lead.”

Brittany Foote was the Panthers’ leading scorer with seven points.
