Bowman, Walantus put up big numbers

PLATTSBURGH — Jonathan Bowman threw a 697 series as Peru knocked off Saranac, 10-0, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference boys’ bowling Monday.

Bowman finished with games of 219, 213 and 265 for the Indians. Kyle Mendofik added games of 223 and 218 for a 616 series. Cole Cragle (557), Keegan Kemp (539) and Dale St. Germaine (534) all had strong outings for Peru. Avery Torrance tossed his first 200 game with a 209.

Chris Fall had a 224 game and a 561

series to lead the way for the Chiefs.

Morgan Reyell’s 213 game and 576 series helped Peru knockoff Saranac, 4-0, in girls’ bowling. Karri Kusalonis chipped in with a 202 game and a 518 series

Mary Hutti paced the Chiefs with a 403 series.

Provost tossed games of 215 and 222 for AuSable Valley. Mike McDonald added a 238 game and a 551 series.

Nick Dodd (558), Harley LaDuke (516) and Hunter Marbut (502) paced Plattsburgh.

Emily Rohrig’s 594 series with games of 215 and 222 led the Hornet girls to a sweep of the Patriots.

Brooke Marbut (471) and Jessica Shaffer (465) each bowled strong for Plattsburgh.

Marissa Prentiss led AuSable Valley with a 371.

CHAMPLAIN —The Cougars knocked off the Sentinels thanks in part to Joey Robert’s 608 series and Chris Kokes’ 609 series.

Matt Jolicoeur added a 515 series for Northeastern Clinton, while Mark Furman chipped in with a 501 series.

Cole Frasier led the way for Ticonderoga with a 559. Howard Fuller finished with a 507.

Jordan McKee helped the Sentinels to a sweep of the Cougars with a 567 series.

Brianna Smith paced Northeastern Clinton with a 478.

Warriner had a 213 game to open his day. Cody Smith added a 497 series, while Michael Sandwig tossed a 469.

Tyler Bridge paced the Warriors with games of 221 and 219 for a 610 series. Dakota Latford finished with a 206 game and a 549 series.

Alyson Arnold helped Willsboro girls come away with a two-all tie with a 200 game and a 519 series. Gabi Yeager added a 467 series.

Shania Sutton led Chateaugay with a 222 game and a 530 series.
