PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh State will offer a bus for fans interested in traveling to Glens Falls to watch the men’s hockey team take on Skidmore College Jan. 4.
Tickets for the bus, which will be provided by Lamoille Valley Transportation, are $25 per person. All 54 spots must be filled for the trip to take place.
The bus will depart from the Plattsburgh State Filed House at 3:30 p.m., Jan. 4 and will return to Plattsburgh immediately following the game. Game time is 7 p.m.
Fans can reserve a spot on the bus by bringing cash or check to Mark Stata at Memorial Hall, Room 312 from Dec. 19 through 21 and Dec. 26 and 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
If additional spots remain, sign-ups will take place during the Cardinal Classic Tournament Dec. 28 and 29.
Seats must be purchased by Jan. 2.

Tickets are $5 behind the goals or $10 for side seats. Students from Skidmore or Plattsburgh will be admitted free by presenting a valid student ID at the box office.

Gore Mountain to expand open terrain by 30 percent
NORTH CREEK — Snowmakers have been capitalizing on every opportunity to open more trails and Gore Mountain expects to increase its open terrain by 30 percent over the weekend. Efforts have been focused on the Pine Knot and Tannery trails, which will facilitate opening terrain on Gore’s summit soon after.
The Bear Cub Poma is opening today, which provides a surface lift and learning area dedicated to first-time skiers and riders.
The North Creek Ski Bowl is also opening today for tubing, with skiing and snowboarding on Village Slopes, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing scheduled to begin Wednesday.

PLATTSBURGH — The next meeting of the Plattsburgh Little League Board will be held at 7 p.m., Jan. 3 at the Crete Center.
