Beekmantown finishes perfect CVAC season

PERU — Beekmantown ended the regular season with a three-set sweep against Peru with scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-11 in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference volleyball Wednesday.

Michaela Lafountain led Beekmantown with nine points and 23 assists while Jordynne Ales and Emily Anderson had six aces apiece. Shannon Ryan had a team-high 12 kills and Kendra Lafountain had nine digs.

Brittany Kelso paced the Indians with five points and four aces. Karley Goddeau-Stefaniak had a team-high five digs and three kills. Kelso, Linzee Wright and Lea Perry had one block apiece for Peru.

AuSable Valley 3, Saranac 0

AUSABLE VALLEY — Miranda Sheffer racked up 16 points and Belle O’Toole dished out 23 assists as AuSable Valley cruised to a three-set sweep of Saranac. The Patriots won with scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-13.

Alexandra Lincoln had a team-high 10 digs for AuSable Valley while Miranda O’Neill added 11 points and three aces. Noelle Miller contributed with 16 kills and seven points.

Sara Wood led the Chiefs with eight points, four kills and four aces. Ali Harpp, Ashley Byerley and Sam Aierle poured in seven points apiece. Bryanna Evoy had four assists.

Northeastern Clinton 3, Lake Placid 1

CHAMPLAIN — Stephanie LaValley had 14 points, including seven aces, and five kills and six digs to help the Cougars get past the Blue Bombers.

Northeastern Clinton dropped the first game and then won three straight. Amanda Tallon contributed eight points, five aces, five digs and 18 assists, and Emily Norris served 10 points and added six digs. Emily Boyer chipped in 12 digs.

Lindsey Howe led Lake Placid with eight points, Carleigh Garrett had 10 assists and Brenna Garrett had five points and six kills.

PLATTSBURGH — Kianna Dragoon served 16 points and six aces and added five kills, 16 assists and seven digs to lead the Hornets to a sweep of the Bobcats.

Kayla Boise chipped in seven points and five digs for Plattsburgh, while Kadijah Brown had 10 kills and five points. Rachel Rebideau contributed six points and five digs.

Northern Adirondack’s Hannah Charland had five points, six kills and 11 digs. Olivia Barnaby added five assists and seven digs, and Emma Trombley had six kills, five assists and three blocks.
