B'town boys, girls take regular season title

PLATTSBURGH — Both the Beekmantown boys and girls wrapped up Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling championships with sweeps at North Bowl Lanes on Wednesday.

The Beekmantown boys recorded a 10-0 win over Peru, while the Eagles won the girls’ match, 4-0.

For the boys, five Eagles rolled 600 or better series.

Ryan Munson tossed a 263-217-201-681 series, Matt Corrow a 220-213-237-670, Ryan Douglas a 212-235-204-651, James St, Denis a 205-225-628 and Dennon Walantus a 204-221-620.

Jonathan Bowman paced Peru with a 245 game and 625 triple, while Kyle Mendofik added a 214 game and 587 series, Brett Ciolek a 224 game and Aaryn Clark, a 213 game.

Meanwhile, four Beekmantown girls tossed 500 or better series.

Harley Wells led the way with a 211 game and 575 triple, Sara Munson a 560, Paedyn Mattioli a 548 and Cheyanne Reeves, 512.

Abbey Boudrieau paced Peru with a 548 series, while Karri Kusalonis added a 533 and Katherine Clark, a 500.
