NCCS sweeps PHS in CVAC bowling

CHAMPLAIN — Joey Robert and Autumn Rock paced the Northeastern Clinton boys’ and girls’ bowling teams to a sweep over Plattsburgh High in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action Tuesday.

Robert led the charge on the boys’ side, tossing a 212-229-620 series. Chris Kokes (193-552), Matt Jolicoeur (245-565) and Justin Lapan (170-457) were also significant contributors.

Hunter Marbut (211-503), Ryan Beebie (164-451) and Will Lavasseur (156-405) each surpassed the 400-mark for the Hornets.

Rock’s 430 series helped the Cougars to a 4-0 blanking of Plattsburgh High in girls’ play. Sabrina Phair and Maddie Dumas bowled a 427 and 409 series, respectively.

Brooke Marbut was a standout for the Hornets, rolling a 160-146-450 series.
