Snowmobile Club

to meet

REDFORD — The Trailgroomers Snowmobile Club will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Big Daddy’s in Redford.

Munson, Peryea, Vann roll

300 games

PLATTSBURGH — John Munson Jr., James Peryea and Boone Vann recently rolled 300 games at North Bowl Lanes.

Munson, bowling for North Bowl Lanes in the Pepsi Classic on November 26, put together a 300-217-278-795 series. He carries a 236 average in the league.

Peryea, bowling for Delisle’s in the Weekenders League on November 24, ended up with a 300-206-243-749 triple. Peryea has a 224 average.

Vann, bowling for the X-Men in the Tuesday Night Handicap, tossed the first 300 of his bowling career and finished with a 235-300-216-751 series. Vann’s average in the league is 191.

Matott leads

hockey team in

Cape Cod tourney

CAPE COD, MASS — Rouses Point native and Beekmantown girls’ hockey team player, Katie Matott, led her Vermont Shamrock U14A team to second place in the Cranberry Classic Girls Hockey Tournament in Cape Cod, Mass. During the three day event, Matott recorded seven goals and five assists. The Shamrocks would lose in the final to a team from Charles River, Mass. 2-1.

LaBier tosses

777 series in

women’s league

PLATTSBURGH — Geri LaBier, who has a 194 average in the league, put together a 297-266-214-777 series while bowling for Meron’s in the Monday Women’s Handicap at North Bowl Lanes.

In her 297 game, LaBier tossed 11 strikes in a row before leaving the 3-6-10 in the 12th frame.

KofC free throw champion ship

set for Dec. 15

PLATTSBURGH — All boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in the local Knights of Columbus free throw championship. The competition will be held on Dec. 15, at 10 a.m. in the Our Lady of Victory gym. All participants on the local level will be recognized for their participation. Participants are required to provide proof of age and written parental consent.
