TICONDEROGA — Kylie Austin scored twice in double-overtime as the Sentinels knocked off the Bobcats.

Makenna Magee put Northern Adirondack on the board first with a goal at 17:11 from Maegan Brunelle. Magan Magee extended the Bobcat lead with an assist from Rachael Venne.

Down 2-0 to start the second half, Keeley Cooper gave Ticonderoga its first goal 19 minutes in. Cooper then scored less than two minutes later to tie the game at 2-2.

In the first overtime, Sentinels midfielder Austin found the loose ball off a corner kick and buried the first overtime goal. She then scored again in the second overtime to give Ticonderoga the final goal.

“This was a tale of two halves,” Ticonderoga coach Kathy Tubbs said. “NAC dominated the first half and we came out in the second.”

Northern Adirondack held a 19-7 shot advantage in the loss.

Seton Catholic 3,

Willsboro 1

PLATTSBURGH — Peyton Falb opened and closed the scoring to lead the Knights to victory.

Falb capitalized on a mistake with 2:35 to play in the first half to give Seton Catholic the early lead. But Willsboro drew even on a nice counter-attack 10:30 into the second half with Kathryn Belzile poking the ball in the corner.

The Knights went ahead to stay eight minutes later when Maddy Murnane’s corner kick went over the head of Willsboro keeper Stephanie Blanchard and Clara Giroux one-timed into the net.

Falb’s second goal of the game, at 23:45, gave the hosts a 3-1 lead. Falb converted a through ball from Murnane, winning a battle with a defender in front.
