On to Corning for LL All-Stars

---- — PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Little League All-Stars wrapped up the New York Little League District 37 championship with a 3-1 triumph over South Jefferson 3-1 Saturday.

Plattsburgh will move on to sectional play in Corning this weekend.

Zach Marlow scattered 4 hits for the victory with Zach Bieber securing the save. Andy Lebeau’s sixth-inning double play ended South Jeff’s comeback hopes.

Jacob Gregoire, Matt Maggy and Ryan Bone each knocked in a run with Cody Peryea scoring twice and Andy Lebeau, once. Maggy, Cade Preston and Isaac Garman each had hits off the bench with Gregoire, Andy and Nick Lebeau, Peryea and Dominick Bordeau all contributing one hit. Bordeau’s double was the only extra-base blow in the game.

Noyes absorbed the losing pitcher. Scoville, Williams, Nappi, LaClair and Hess each had singles for South Jefferson.
