QUEENSBURY — Christopher Miller’s 22 points paired with Jamie Davison’s 17 points and five steals helped the Cougars grab their third straight win and defeat the Timberwolves in college hoops action.

Clinton would hold the lead for the entire game and at times had it stretched to 21 points. Each time the lead was extended SUNY Adirondack would find a way to shorten it.

“We knew coming into this game that they (Adirondack) were going to play hard,” Clinton coach Kevin Daugherty said. “At one point they cut our 21-point lead down to seven.”

It was John Buddick and Josh Horton who kept bringing the Timberwolves back into the game with Buddick scoring 22 points and going 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Horton was able to tally 20 points with 12 of them coming off 3-pointers.

The Cougars’ Kyree Hull added 12 points and Stefan Radan had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Mykell Crecko came close to a triple-double with eight points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. He also added three blocks to help improve his team to 6-4 overall and 5-4 in region play.
