Macey doubles for Crown Point

OLMSTEDVILLE — Robby Macey hit a double in the Crown Point baseball team’s 8-2 win over Minerva/Newcomb on Monday. Macey was incorrectly identified in Tuesday’s Press-Republican.

PYH board meeting tonight

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Youth Hockey will hold a board meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at PrimeLink (99 Kansas Avenue). This meeting is open to the public.

Willsboro Golf Course hosting match play tourney

WILLSBORO — There will be a handicapped, double-elimination match play tournament at the Willsboro Golf Course with one match per week, starting with a play-in round June 9. The field will be limited to the first 16 entrants. The entry fee is $25 (nonmembers will have to pay greens fees as well). Enter by June 2 by calling the course at 963-8989 or Brandon Smith at 562-0352.

Mary Ryan Youth Fishing Derby set for May 17

WILLSBORO — The Willsboro Fish & Game Club will hold there annual Mary Ryan Youth Fishing Derby May 17. The derby is open to kids ages 3 to 15. Pre-registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the derby is 9 a.m. to noon. Prizes, trophies and refreshments will follow. For more information, contact Jim Hotaling at 963-7430.

Youth disc golf clinic, tourney planned for May 31

PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a Youth Disc Golf Clinic and Youth Disc Golf Tournament at the Cadyville Disc Golf Course on May 31. The clinic will be from 10 a.m. to noon and is available to youth of all disc golf experience levels.

The tournament will be a fun and friendly environment for youths to try out the new beginner-friendly red tee pads. It will begin at 1 p.m. will consist of one round of disc golf. Youths do not need to attend the clinic to participate in the tournament. Both events are free. Register or stop by the Recreation Department office to fill out a form. For more information, call the Recreation Department at 562-6860 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
