Clinton baseball rained out

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College baseball team was leading Fulton-Montgomery 6-3 in the fourth inning Saturday when the game was stopped due to rain. The Cougars are scheduled to play the Raiders again today in Johnstown.

NYSEG league meeting May 8 at Harmony

PORT KENT — The Thursday NYSEG league at Harmony Golf Club will have an informational meeting at 6 p.m. May 8 in the clubhouse.

Bluff Point offering three golf leagues

PLATTSBURGH — Bluff Point is offering three golf leagues this year. The Women’s League will be Mondays, the Men’s League will be Tuesdays and a new Mixed League will be Fridays.

Each will be a two-person-team league and tee off between 4 and 5:30 p.m. to accommodate those who have to work.

The entry fee is $65, and weekly golf will be $22 with cart. The leagues will be nine holes, but entrants are welcome to play all 18.

The leagues are a fun atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels. There will be a variety of awards so that everyone gets something. Singles are welcome and will be paired up. Bluff Point is interested in growing the leagues, so please let friends know.

Entry forms and more information can be found at or in the Pro Shop. Space is limited, so sign up as soon as possible to secure a spot.

Chazy Lions Club Golf Tournament to be held May 17

ROUSES POINT — The first Chazy Lions Club Golf Tournament will be held May 17 at North Country Golf Club. It will be a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start at noon.

Donated prizes will be raffled, and there will be a 50/50 raffle. Entry fee is $65 for nonmembers and $55 for members (includes cart). Entry fee includes a hearty buffet after the tournament.
