Elizabethtown-Lewis defeats Schroon Lake in tiebreaker

ELIZABETHTOWN — Despite a 3-3 match tie, Elizabethtown-Lewis earned its second straight victory with a 19-stroke win over Schroon Lake in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference golf Friday.

Boyce Rawson was medalist for the Lions with a 39, edging out the Wildcats’ Alex Shaughnessy in their No. 1 matchup.

Shaughnessy and Tanner Stone both shot a 44 for Schroon Lake, and Caleb Denton pitched in a solid round of 41 for Elizabethtown-Lewis.

Willsboro 4, Crown Point 2

WILLSBORO — Seth Swires was medalist with a 39 to lead the Warriors to a victory against the Panthers.

Willsboro also got strong performances from Nick Arnold and Zach Pierson, who shot a 41 and 42, respectively.

Noah Macey, who was defeated by Swires, shot a 51 to earn medalist for Crown Point.

Moriah 4, N’eastern Clinton 2

ROUSES POINT — Kyle Wilson, Joe Stahl, Dylan Scozzafava and Brandon Hammond each captured match wins for the Vikings at the North Country Golf Club.

Wilson and Stahl were medalists, shooting a 42.

Anthony Barcomb and Curtis Bosley each collected victories for the Cougars, shooting a 57 and 48, respectively.
