Peru sweeps Seton in CVAC golf

PERU — The Peru golf team registered a six-match sweep of Seton Catholic, winning 6-0 in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action Tuesday.

Tyler Lemza (45), Christian Matia (45), Gavin Plimpton (46), Kyle Miller (47), Noah Haber (54) and Brandon LePage (58) each collected match wins at the Adirondack Golf and Country Club.

Shooting a 45, Lemza and Matia each shared the medalist.

Joe Zalis, who dropped a one-stroke loss to Lemza in No. 1 play, shot a 46 for the Knights.

No. 1- Lemza (PCS) def. Zalis, 45-46.

No. 2- Matia (PCS) def. Favreau, 45-54. No. 3- Plimpton (PCS) def. Tedford, 46-52. No. 4- Miller (PCS) def. Kustos, 47-59.

No. 5- Haber (PCS) def. Lafountain, 54-55. No. 6- LePage (PCS) def. Pellerin, 58-62.
