Over in Vermont, freshman Luke Potash outpaced every other sprinter in the 200-meter dash with a first-place finish in a time of 22.73 seconds.
Potash also took part in the 400-meter dash and finished with a third-place time of 53.63 seconds.
As a team, the Cardinals finished in second place with 33 points at the Middlebury Invitational. Mike Schram contributed five points to the total team score with a first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run. The senior crossed the line in a time of 15:33.45 and was over 30 seconds faster than his nearest competition.
