Heywood breaks into win column

(Continued)

Jason McClatchie of Plattsburgh won the Renegade 25-lap feature by four car lengths over Josh Terry and Lance Rabtoy. After an early side-by-side duel with Robbie Favreau, McClatchie gained the lead for keeps. Terry took over second place at the halfway mark. Rabtoy rallied late for third. Ryan Boutin and Favreau were next in line.

“I lost a motor last week, and Robin Wood helped me out,” McClatchie said. “We re-scaled the car, and tonight I could put it wherever I needed to.”

Jayson Criss of Plattsburgh padded his point lead in the Busch Mini Modified feature. Criss put his Mott Marine/Tow Boat U.S. No. 54 past Rob Clark on lap 6 and went on to his second win of the season. Clark, Eric Reyell, Kris Clark and Dale O’Neil ran 2-3-4-5.
