Stephen Peryea collects 3 hits and knocks in 3 runs with Brandon Barcomb and Tim Barcomb each chipping in with 2 hits to lead the CVBL All-Stars to a 8-5 victory over the Clinton County Mariners. Steve Niederbuhl belts a 3-run homer for the Mariners.
Winning pitcher Frank Buksa has 4 hits, including a pair of home runs, to power City Police to a 13-12 victory over NuWay Car Wash in the deciding game of the Plattsburgh Little League A Division playoffs. David Latulipe clubs 2 homers for NuWay while Brandon Hatch adds one.

Peregrine, skippered by Don Brush and Fritz Horton, drifts across the finish line to win the 16th Mayor’s Cup. Mohawk Warrior and Dave Gorman appear well on their way to victory when the wind dies, dashing Gorman’s hopes for a repeat victory.
Mike O’Connor and Chip Ward set a new course record for a better-ball tournament with a 10-under 62 in the first round of the Bluff Point Member-Guest Tournament. They finish at 18-under 126.
Jamie LaPorte, 17, of Cadyville, qualifies for the National Archery championships in Illinois.
Kyle Siskavich pitches a 5-hitter as Merkel’s completes a 17-1 season in the Plattsburgh Little League with a 14-2 thumping and two-game series sweep of Kennedy-Copeland. Steve Monahan knocks in 4 runs with a double and a triple.
