---- — PERU — Nick Uliva provided a bulk of the offense and Luis Pepen-Matos was brilliant from the mound as Adams Glass rolled to a 10-1 win over the Plattsburgh Elks in Senior Babe Ruth action Monday.

Pepen-Matos struck out 12 and allowed just two hits in a complete-game performance for the victory.

Uliva was a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple and a double from the plate. Adams Glass (10-6-1) belted out 15 hits in all over six innings.

Ryan McCall added three hits for Adams Glass, while Nick Demarais, Kyle Sprague and Pepen-Matos each had two. Kyle McCarthy and Jacob Kennedy both had a hit.

“Our bats have really come alive,” Adams Glass coach John Demarais said. “We are getting good pitching and playing great defense. We’re putting a lot of pressure on defenses and it’s paying off.”

Kristian Sherman and Jonas Miller each finished with a double to pace the Elks. Austin Medeiros suffered the loss on the mound.
