Local archery clubs host benefit 3D archery shoot

PLATTSBURGH — There is a 3D archery shoot to raise money for The Hunt Of A Lifetime today. The local archery clubs will be putting on the shoot. The money raised will go to help grant a sick kid’s last wish. The event will start at 8 a.m.

There will also be a silent auction. We will raffle off a $500 gift card to Gander Mountain, plus a PSE cross bow. For more information, call David Frederick, at 335-8766.

Champlain/Rouses Point holding soccer registration

CHAMPLAIN — The Town of Champlain, along with the villages of Rouses Point and Champlain, will conduct final soccer registration until July 15. Anyone calling after that date will be placed on a waiting list.

Players who registered in the spring do not need to register again, but can call if soccer is the only sport they play to make sure the paperwork was received. Practices will begin mid-August and coaches will contact you when their practices begin. Not all teams start at the same time. For more information, contact Linda Fredette at 297-6824.
