FUNdaMENTAL camp announces dates

PLATTSBURGH — Seton Catholic’s FUNdaMENTAL girls’ basketball camp will run from July 28 through Aug. 1.

Prices will remain the same as last year. It will cost new campers $130, while returning 2013 campers will pay $110 for the one week.

Coaches will include Chris Castine, Danielle Castine, Mike Castine and Gary Castine.

Camps will again be available for students entering grades four through 12 and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with doors opening at 8:15 a.m.

Campers will receive a basketball, t-shirt and camp evaluation.

Dannemora holding soccer registration

DANNEMORA — The Village of Dannemora will be holding soccer registration at the Community Center from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 25.

Boys and girls, from ages 3 to 14, are eligible to participate on co-ed teams.

Registration forms are available at the Community Center. Those interested can also register a child online at villageofdannemora.com.

Those interested are encouraged to include a copy of the child’s birth certificate, if one has not already been submitted for a previous sport.

Oricchio helps Generals to title

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — T.J. Oricchio, a 17-year-old defenseman and Plattsburgh native, helped the Boston Generals to a Skater’s Edge Tournament title at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass.

Oricchio chipped in with three goals, while anchoring a blue line that posted two shutouts on the way to a championship.

Development Corporation Golf Tournament results

PERU — The Development Corporation (TDC) hosted its annual golf tournament at the Adirondack Golf Club July 10.

Results

First place: Mark Golden, Mark Leta and Zach Welch.

Second place: John Fowler, Michael Hatch, Ken Krieger and Andy Susslin.

Third place: Michael Carpenter, Pete Tromblee, Brian Watts, Betsy Vicencio.
