Pepen Matos rapped two doubles and Marcus Lefebvre two singles for the Dodgers. Chris Vliege, Sousa, Ethan King, Matt Letourneau and Nick Demarais all chipped in with a single each. Demarais made an outstanding defensive play at second base.
In the second contest, Sousa’s single drove in Demarais with the go-ahead run in the sixth inning.
Sousa finished with three hits, while Demarais added a double and single. Kale Penetti doubled, while King, Letourneau and Lefebvre each chipped with a single. King struck out six in going the distance for the pitching win.

“We have a young team and the players are realizing how much of a grind it is,” Adams Glass coach John Demarais said. “They’re fighting hard. We didn’t get great starting pitching today, but we were efficient on defense and on offense.
“Ethan wasn’t at his best, but he showed a lot of composure and battled.”
