Lady Cougar basketball camp begins Saturday

CHAMPLAIN — The Lady Cougar basketball camp will begin Saturday at Northeastern Clinton Central School.

The camp will run June 28 and June30-July 3 from 8-11 a.m. The camp is for all girls entering third grade or older. A $50 fee includes t-shirts and all drinks are supplied.

Be there Saturday at 7:30 a.m. if you have not already registered. Players should arrive at NCCS dressed and ready to play.

Senior Mariners game versus Malone postponed

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Senior Mariners’ baseball game at Malone Post #219 on Wednesday was postponed due to rain.

The two teams are scheduled to play today at 6 p.m. at Lefty Wilson Field.

Piller records fastest time in bicycle time trials

POINT AU ROCHE — Jack Piller posted the fastest time at the weekly bicycle time trials with a 22:39 run, followed by Jerry Macner and Matthew Speirs.

The time trials take place on Wednesday nights at the Point Au Roche firehouse on the Lakeshore Road. The event is open to all novice and experienced riders, road bikes or mountain bikes. Helmets are mandatory and all riders must obey the rules of the road.
