Hill Climb Drag Racing coming to Titus Mountain

MALONE — Titus Mountain Family Ski Center is capping of their winter season by hosting a SHCRA Championship Hill Climb Drag Race on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13.

Indoor Rifle Range activities to be held April 9

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club will host a fun night of shooting at its Indoor Rifle Range on Route 9, on Tuesday, April 9. Participants should arrive between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. to register. Activities will include archery, running boar, air rifle and air pistol shooting at zombie targets, and various .22 rifle shooting games. Cost is $5 per person, and participants need to provide their own ammunition or pick up some at the club. All equipment provided is free. Lifeguard/First Aid RecertificationMay 4

PLATTSBURGH — The Department of Sport and wellness is offering a non-credit Lifeguard/First Aid Recertification Course on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students must have certification in Lifeguard/Waterfront/First Aid. Registration is in 312 Memorial Hall.

Cost is $75. Copies of certification must accompany enrollment form and fee. This renewal does not renew CPR for Lifeguards. Fire Department softball tournament

AUSABLE FORKS — The Ausable Forks Fire Department will host its 23rd-annual unlimited arc softball tournament July 19, 20 and 21. There will be 16 teams playing with double elimination. To enter, call Tim Lincoln at 569-3403 or Dave McKie 726-0886.

Adk Open disc golf tourney April 20

PLATTSBURGH — The Adirondack Disc Golf Association and the Town Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department are sponsoring the Adirondack Open Disc Golf Tournament at the Cadyville Disc Golf Course April 20.
