---- — Ameri-Can North Sports Center announces schedule
PLATTSBURGH — The Ameri-Can North Sports Center has announced its schedule for Saturday and Sunday.
Public skating will occur from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
An additional public skating session will occur from 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., while stick-n-puck is slated for 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
AVCS hosts athletes, parents meeting Wednesday
CLINTONVILLE — The AuSable Valley athletic department will be conducting its athletes-coaches-parents meeting for all modified, JV and varsity players participating in a winter sport in the MHS auditorium Wednesday.
The coaches-only meeting will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the athletes-coaches-parents meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. All needed paperwork for winter participation may be submitted or filled out at the meeting.

Triathlon club forming at Mountain Riders
PLATTSBURGH — A triathlon club is forming at Mountain Riders in Plattsburgh.
Its meetings will be held at the shop on the second Tuesday of each month. The first meeting is set for 6 p.m. Nov. 12.
Mountain Riders will talk about memberships, becoming registered with USAT, club insurance and bouncing ideas off each other.
All are welcome and input is needed and valued for a well-rounded, successful club.

CYH sponsoring ’Try Hockey Free Day’ on Nov. 2
CHAZY — Chazy Youth Hockey, in conjunction with USA Hockey, will be sponsoring a “Try Hockey Free Day” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Scotts’ Memorial Rink in Chazy Nov. 2.
CYH will provide all necessary equipment, from head-to-toe and helmets-to-skates, for a child to come and try hockey at no cost.

Indoor Bicycle Time Trials scheduled for Nov. 6
PLATTSBURGH — Indoor bicycle time trials will begin at Mountain Riders Nov. 6. They will be held weekly on Wednesdays from November to April with prizes awarded at the event’s conclusion.
