Mike Bieber, Dave Mendofik and Jeff Reisdorf get 2 hits to back winning pitcher Jim Tyler. Kevin Leavine and George Dyer hit homers for the Troopers.
Mark Gilligan is named athletic director at Saranac Lake Central, succeeding John Raymond, who is named principal of the Middle School.
Gil Burnell defeats George Bouyea, Jr. 2 and 1 to win the Men’s club championship while Barbara Maille takes the women’s title at Bluff Point.
