Cards finish without a loss

PSU women end reg season with shutout

The weekend sweep gave Plattsburgh State a 15-0-1 record against conference opponents and secured the top-seed for the ECAC West playoffs. Elmira College will enter the postseason as the second seed and also receives a first-round bye to the semifinals, which Plattsburgh will host. The official tournament seedings and schedule will be released by the ECAC West today.

“This season as a whole has been great, and it’s a great accomplishment to finish unbeaten,” Houle said. “Everything is out the window, though. All playoff teams are 0-0-0 and the next game could be your last. We have a week off and hope to take advantage of it by getting prepared.”
