Taylor, Preston help Patriots past Indians

AUSABLE FORKS — Josh Taylor rolled a 179-187-189-555 series and Roger Preston added a 174-180-517 at Riverside Lanes on Friday to lead the AuSable Valley boys to a 9-1 victory over Peru in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling.

Jonathan Bowman tossed a match-high 174-209-266-649 triple for the Indians.

Karri Kusalonis’ 173 game and 461 series led the Peru girls to a 4-0 victory. Marissa Prentiss’ 137 game and 354 triple led the Patriots.

CHAMPLAIN — Joey Robert rolled a 245 game and 579 series, while Matt Jolicoeur added a 242 game and 579 set to lead the Northeastern Clinton boys to a shutout win at Bowl Mart Lanes.

Chris Kokes finished with a 190-193-572 triple for the Cougars. Chris Fall’s 198 game and 507 series were high for the Chiefs.

Maddie Dumas’ 150 game and 390 series helped give NCCS its win in the girls’ match. Mary Hutti’s 147 game and 356 triple led Saranac.
