Willsboro 46, Chazy 42 (OT)

CHAZY — Nick Arnold hit a key 3-pointer in overtime and finished with 20 points as the Warriors outlasted the Eagles in Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference action.

The Warriors led by 10 at halftime, but Chazy cut away at that lead in the third quarter and tied it late in the game.

“We were down by two with 28 seconds left, and we worked the ball down low and were able to get it to Justin Brothers, who hit a layup to tie it up with 11 seconds left,” Chazy coach Cory Thompson said. “Willsboro had the ball last and missed a jumpshot.

“We hit the first three in overtime to put us up by three, and then Willsboro went on a little bit of a run and outscored us.”
