POTSDAM — Jeremy Bullis and Connor Christopherson had big games as the Saranac boys’ basketball team recorded a 57-42 victory over Massena on Saturday in the Larry Cowan Section VII vs. X Challenge at SUNY Potsdam.
Bullis poured in 21 points, while Christopherson finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

“Bullis came ready to play today and had a monster game,” said Saranac coach Brent Denis. “He was nine-of-13 from the field.
“Christopherson also had a fantastic game. It was a nice win for us and one we needed to get.”
Tanner Rascoe was also a factor in the victory with 11 points and John Maye added seven rebounds for the Chiefs (4-3), who held a 24-17 halftime lead.
Zach Rusaw tossed in 15 points for the Red Raiders and Joey Labelle added 12.

Seton Catholic 50, Tupper Lake 48
POTSDAM — The Knights held on for a victory over the Lumberjacks as Kaden Baugh led the way with 15 points and four steals.
Adam Tedford added 14 points and four assists for Seton Catholic, while Keagen Briggs finished with a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks.
“We were up by two points with six seconds left and missed two shots from the line,” said Seton coach Larry Converse. “They then had a long three-pointer from near half court that missed.”
“The kids played hard and it was a good win for us.”
Mitch Keniston accounted for nearly half of Tupper Lake’s offense with 23 points.
“Keniston was a beast for them,” said Converse. “He had 13 of his points in the second half.”
