North Stars' Aguglia, Gibson lead EFL All-Stars

(Continued)

“(Ross) put our offense in great field position all year,” Aguglia said. “However, I wish he received a little more notoriety on defense for his play-making abilities.”

The North Stars had 12 representatives chosen to the Second Team including running back Jamil McCray, wide receivers Jordon Keleher and Andrew Price, and offensive linemen John Dubuc, Josh Painter and Nick Moore.

On the defensive side of the football, linebackers Nick Norris and BJ Godfrey were credited with Second Team selections, while Brandon St. John earned a spot at defensive back.

Evan White and Kris Ross received Second Team accolades for kicking and punt returning, respectively.

“A dozen players being selected to the Second Team really showcases our depth,” Aguglia said. “We have a number of guys comfortable at different positions. They’re quick learners and can adapt.”

The North Stars play the winner of Vermont and Watertown October 13 at the Plattsburgh High School Athletic Complex in the EFL Semi-Finals.

“I’m humbled to win the Coach of the Year award and I couldn’t have done it without the staff and commitment from our players, but I won’t be satisfied until we get two more wins,”Aguglia said. “This is a big month for our team and we have to execute.”
