---- — Kilkeary tosses 812 series at North Bowl

PLATTSBURGH — Kevin Kilkeary Sr. rolled a 258-279-275-812 series while bowling for Butcher Block in the Tuesday Men’s Handicap at North Bowl Lanes on March 19. Kilkeary carries a 217 league average.

Guido, Dumas, Collins roll 300 games at North Bowl

PLATTSBURGH — Joe Guido, bowling for North Bowl Restaurant in the Industrial League on March 14 at North Bowl, tossed a 300 game and finished the evening with a 300-243-211-754 triple. Guido’s league average is 231.

Nick Dumas, bowling in the North Country Mixed League on March 15, rolled a 300 and a 216-300-211-727 series. Dumas’ league average is 219.

Jim Collins, bowling for the Collins Family in the North Country Mixed League on March 15, tossed a 300 and a 207-300-213-720 series. Collins has a 192 average in the league.

Plattsburgh Lacrosse Appreciation Day Saturday

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Lacrosse Club will be holding a Lacrosse Appreciation Day at Dick’s Sporting Goods from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Members will hold registration for the upcoming season as well as answer lacrosse questions. If you’re new to the sport, stop by and see what the club is all about. North Stars members headed to All-Star Game

PLATTSBURGH — Three members of the Plattsburgh North Stars will represent the semi-pro football team in the 18th-Annual Casino Bowl National All-Star Game in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday.

Defensive Tackle Kelsey Lenney, guard John Dubuc and head coach Scott Aguglia applied and were selected to be part of the National Football Events All-Star team. Both Lenney and Dubuc have repeatedly been selected as Empire Football League All-Stars, and Aguglia was named the EFL Coach of the Year last season.

Bobby’s Lounge Horseshoe Leagues to begin in May

PLATTSBURGH — The Bobby’s Lounge Men’s Horseshoe League is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 14, and the Co-Ed Mixed League will begin Thursday, May 16. These are both draw-for-partner leagues.

Registration for Town summer/fall programs starts March 25

PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh registration for all the programs offered by the Recreation Department throughout the summer and fall will start March 25. Programs include baseball/softball/t-ball, swimming, fall soccer, summer camps and many others. Summer brochures are being mailed to all homeowners in the Town and will also be available at the Town Office during regular business hours starting March 25. Registrations will be accepted through April 15. Any registrations received after this date will be placed on a waiting list.

All participants must register to play in the town they reside in before seeking a release to play elsewhere.

Parents and guardians must sign the registration forms and include a birth certificate for each participant unless one is already on file. Participants can register online, download a registration form at www.townofplattsburghrecreation.com or picked up and drop off forms at the following locations:

Cumberland Bay Market, Cadyville Gulf, Goldie’s Grocery, Lucky’s Mini Mart, Nadim’s Corner Grocery, Ukie’s Deli, Wooden Ski & Wheel or the lobby of the Town Office.

Anyone interested in coaching or in becoming a paid official for games should call the Recreation Department at 562-6860 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

AC North offers skating this weekend

PLATTSBURGH — The Ameri-Can North Sports Center will hold Stick -N- Puck from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and Public Skating from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
