Winter Adventure Race results
PLATTSBURGH — The town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department and Clinton County Youth Bureau held the first Winter Adventure Race of February Sunday.
The race was held at the Champlain Valley Transportation Museum and 28 kids participated in a snow-obstacle course made up of snow piles, tunnels and tires.
The third race in the series will be held Saturday, February 16, with registration beginning at 2 p.m. For more information please contact the Clinton County Youth Bureau at 565-4750.

Free skate at SUNY Plattsburgh Field House
PLATTSBURGH — Free ice time will be available to all town residents, at the SUNY Plattsburgh Field house on February, 19, 21 and 22 from noon-1 p.m each day. Skate rentals will be available and free of charge. No registration is necessary.
Family snowshoe program set for Feb. 20-22
PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Youth Bureau and Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department will co-host a Family Snowshoe Program at the Cadyville Recreation Park.
The program will run from February 20-22, starting from 1:30 p.m – 3:30 p.m. This free program will introduce youth, from seven years old and up, and their family’s skills such as, snowshoeing, teamwork, and outdoor leadership skills.
Youth will have the opportunity to play snowshoe Disc Golf and many other outdoor games. Previous snowshoeing experience is not required and all equipment will be provided. Pre-registration is required, and participants may register for any and each day offered. Please dress for the weather.
