Plattsburgh High 45, Peru 28

PLATTSBURGH — After a low-scoring first-half, the Hornets went on a 34-20 run in the final 16 minutes of play to solidify the victory.

“We were finally able to settle down, and Olivia Carlsson and Kianna Dragoon hit some key shots in the third quarter,” Plattsburgh High coach Joe Staves said. “That opened things up for us. Peru was cold from the field. Emily Major got into some foul trouble, which allowed us to rebound better in the second half.”

Marle Curle had 20 points to go along with 16 rebounds, earning double-double status. Meghan

Mazzella and Brianna Hackett each scored eight points for the Indians.
