---- — Clinton reschedules basketball game times

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College men’s and women’s basketball games against SUNY Delhi on Sunday have been changed to noon for the women and 2 p.m. for the men.

Saranac Central in need of spring coaches

SARANAC — Saranac Central School is seeking applications for the following spring coach positions: junior varsity baseball and modified baseball.

Deerlands rabbit derby set for Feb. 2-3

REDFORD — The 4th Annual Deerlands Rabbit Derby will be held Feb. 2 to 3 at the Cedar Hollow Hunting Camp.

Tickets are $10 and include a spaghetti dinner. Winners will be determined by draw, four rabbits per entry and no rabbits will be taken after 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Labatt Blue curling competition Saturday

WEST PLATTSBURGH — The Labatt Blue Curling competition will be held at American Legion Post 1619 on Saturday. The event starts at 9 a.m. Teams are asked to be on the ice a lf hour before their start time.

YMCA offering indoor soccer league

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh YMCA is offering a junior indoor soccer league for boys and girls ages 4 to 7 at he YMCA gym. The program is divided into two divisions: kickers, ages 4 to 5; and dribblers, ages 6 to 7.

The program runs from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. once a week for the kickers (Tuesday or Thursday, or Friday if needed) and dribblers (Monday or Wednesday, or Friday if needed). This instructional league is designed to be a fun family activity, while learning how to play soccer.

Registration can be done at the downtown YMCA at 17 Oak Street. Children from all area communities are welcome. The practice/games will run for one hour for eight weeks, beginning the week of Feb. 11. Children will receive a t-shirt uniform and a trophy. Volunteer coaches are also needed.
