“This is the first time we’ve been evened up in shots on goal in a long time,” said Beekmantown coach Ray Guay. “They came out competing and we came out a little flat.

“Being on the road for two games in a row, that was expected a little. But my girls could have played better today.”

Beekmantown, the day before, skated to a 7-1 victory at Oswego.

The Eagles’ next game is at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at home against Canton.
