---- — PSU baseball Fall World Series set

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh State head baseball coach Kris Doorey has announced the Cardinals will hold their Fall World Series this weekend. The three-game intersquad series will be held at Chip Cummings Field.

The first game is set for today at noon. Games two and three will be played on Saturday and Sunday, with 11 a.m. starting times. All games are open to the public and are free of charge.

PSU women’ hockey to host alumni game

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State women’s hockey team will host its annual alumni game on Saturday at the Stafford Ice Arena.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch this year’s squad scrimmage against a number of former Cardinals who will be returning to campus for the weekend festivities. The game is set for noon and admission is free.

Plattsburgh FC has limited openings for U12 girls

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh FC soccer club has limited openings for U12-aged girls to participate in the club’s Monday indoor soccer training sessions, with the possibility of joining one of the club’s U12 spring outdoor travel teams.

The Monday training sessions, run by Karen Waterbury, Gena Rosenbaum and Brian Micheels, are held at the Crete Soccer Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and are open to any female soccer player born between Aug. 1, 2000 and July 31, 2002.

Plattsburgh R&G open Saturday

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club will be open again Saturday at 2 p.m. for individuals that want to use the indoor rifle and pistol range.
