ADK sets

kayak/canoe trip

for Oct. 14

SARANAC — On Sunday, October 14, the public is invited to join the Algonquin Chapter of the ADK on a kayak/canoe trip. Meet at the bridge in Saranac at 10 a.m. by taking the first left turn past Saranac Central School.

This is a one-way trip from the Saranac Bridge to the Cadyville beach. It is six miles in flat water for three or four hours. We will arrange for transportation back to Saranac for car pick-up.

Disc golf tourney to be held Oct. 13

CADYVILLE — The Chains for Charity disc golf tournament will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cadyville Rec. Park. There will be two rounds with set divisions based on skill level. Prizes will go to top finishers in each division. Partial proceeds will go to the CVPH Foundation. For more information, contact M. Stick-puck, public skating scheduled

PLATTSBURGH — Ameri-Can North Sports Centre will be open for a stick ‘n’ puck session Friday, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and for public skating on Sunday, from 4-5:15 p.m.
