Brown leads Peru past PHS in gymnastics.

PLATTSBURGH — Alexandra Brown finished second in three events and took second in the all-around Thursday to lead Peru to a 155.65-148.3 victory over Plattsburgh High in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference gymnastics.

Brown was second in the vault (8.25), bars (8.0) and floor exercise (8.8) while finishing with 32.75 points in the all-around.

The Indians also finished 1-2 on the balance beam, with Becca Pellerin winning with an 8.00 and Mason Fortin second with a 7.75.

The Hornets were led by Dalen Keswick, who won three events — a 9.35 in the vault, an 8.4 on the bars and a 9.3 in the floor exercise. Keswick won the all-around competition with a 34.5.
