PLATTSBURGH — Roto Rooter recorded a 14-7 victory over the North Country Rebels before dropping a 14-13 decision to T. Maliniak’s Masonry to fall from the unbeaten ranks this past weekend in the Plattsburgh Flag Football League.

Chris Fish opened the scoring by returning an interception 12 yards for a touchdown and quarterback Harry Rascoe later added a six-yard scoring run. D.J. Barber added the point after on both.
Jordan Coolidge’s 20-yard touchdown run put the Rebels on the scoreboard and the extra point was good.
Fish, Matt St. Clair and Ken Karney recorded interceptions for Roto Rooter.
MALINIAK MASONRY 14, ROTO ROOTER 13
Roto Rooter got on the board first on Harry Rascoe’s eight-yard scoring run and Elijah Parks’ point after.
But Chris Verkey would run it in from 59 yards for Maliniak’s and Chris Castine would then hook up with Mike Castine from 41 yards out. Clint McCool added both point afters.
Roto Rooter drew close when Rascoe connected with Travis Lamica from 41 yards out, but the two-point conversion try failed.
Gus Terry had an interception for Maliniak’s and Lamica two for Roto Rooter.
MALINIAK MASONRY 18, MAMA’S BOYZ 0
Chris Castine scored from two yards out and Peter Wheatley ran back a punt 55 yards for a touchdown.
Clint McCool added two point afters, while Maliniak’s also recorded two safeties, one by Mark Kiroy.

Brandon St. John opened the scoring with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Joe Gillespie and then connected on a game-winning eight-yard scoring strike to Chris Strack as Battenelli’s won its first game of the season.
Nick O’Meara and Xavier Trombley added interceptions.
The Monsters/Pepsi got on the board on Tre Bucci’s two-yard run and Jordan Knight added the point after.
