B'town wins behind Villemaire

CHAMPLAIN — Kallie Villemaire scored all three of her team’s goals Saturday as Beekmantown recorded a 3-1 victory at Northeastern Clinton in a non-league girls’ soccer contest.

Villemaire tallied the lone goal of the first half and then added two more just over two minutes apart midway through the second stanza.

Lauren Dube put the Cougars on the scoreboard with just 51 seconds remaining in the game.

Lauren O’Connor posted the victory in net for the Eagles with eight saves and Christina Paola stopped 13 shots for Northeastern Clinton.
