---- — PLATTSBURGH — Roto Rooter and the North Country Rebels continue to set the pace in the Plattsburgh Flag Football League by improving their records to 3-0 last weekend.
Roto Rooter rolled to a 41-6 victory over Damain Battenelli Photography, while the Rebels eked out a 7-6 win over Northeast Irrigation/Mama’s Boyz. In the final game of the day, T. Maliniak & Sons Masonry defeated the North Country Monsters, 21-0.

Harry Rascoe threw touchdown passes of 31 yards and 18 to D.J. Barber, 29 yards and 17 yards to Trevor St. Clair, and 34 yards to Neil Stevens. Barber added all the point afters and Jamil McCray ran an interception back 60 yards for a score. Steve St. Clair Sr. and Kelsey Lenney were standouts on the line.
Battenelli’s got on the scoreboard when Brandon St. John threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Jamie Kilborn.
NORTH COUNTRY REBELS 7N’EAST IRRIGATION/BOYZ 6
Eric Rock opened the scoring for the winners with a 56-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Coolidge and Kyle Rascoe added the point after.
Jordan Gillespie countered with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Austin Velie, but the point after try failed.
Velie and Coolidge had interceptions, while Andrew Price and Craig Livsey also played well.

Chris Castine tossed touchdown passes of 19 yards to Chris Verkey and 20 yards to Mike Castine. Clint McCool added three point afters. The third touchdown for Maliniak’s came on a 55-yard punt return by Pete Wheatley, who had earlier proposed to his girlfriend at halftime (she said yes).
Kenji Jones and Mike Castine added interceptions on defense.
