- Alex Brenton earned an assist Saturday, giving him two helpers and three goals on the weekend. He had two goals and no assist heading into the tournament.
- Mark Constantine was injured in the third period when he was hit into the boards. After being attended to by the trainer, the junior forward stayed on the bench and put his helmet and gloves back on, but by the end of the game, he was watching from behind the glass.

Bob Emery: “They just were clogging the front of the net. We just couldn’t get loose pucks in front. They did a good job of not letting us to rebounds and a good job taking away the front of the net. They just played a great defensive game.”
Emery: “We still gotta do a better job on the power play. We needed a goal on the power play at the right time.”
Hobart coach Mark Taylor on coming into the tournament on a six-game winless streak: “We knew we needed to do some big things from here on forward. We gotta be spotless from now on.”
