CHAZY — The Sentinels came roaring back in the fourth quarter to grab a come-from-behind victory against the Eagles.

Ticonderoga trailed 29-20 through three quarters, but outscored Chazy 17-4 in the final stanza to pull ahead for the win.

“Things were looking good for us in the beginning,” Eagles coach Liz Garrand said. “We came out strong, which is what we have been hoping to do. We were able to keep Ti’s chances down and possess the ball the best we have so far this season.

“We were able to stay ahead in the third, though we started to lose steam and composure in the fourth. Ti recognized this and took full advantage with full-court press which earned them several points and ultimately the win.”

Kylie Austin led Ticonderoga with 12 points, while Delaney Hughes chipped in with nine points.

Courtney Gilmore paced Chazy with eight points. Ashley Gilmore and Allison Tatro each had six points.
