Beekmantown cruises past Bethlehem

PLATTSBURGH — The No. 10-ranked Beekmantown boys’ hockey team showed no signs of a potential letdown on Senior Night Friday.

The Eagles received two goals from Kyle Bisonette and Kyle Constanty in their 7-0 rout of Bethlehem of Section II in nonleague play.

“It was a great night overall for seniors,” Beekmantown coach Justin Frechette said. “I thought our special teams were the difference in the game. We had two shorthanded goals, two power-play goals and two really big kills for our PK.”

Josh Barriere, Nate Foster and Brandon Buksa also recorded goals for the Eagles in their seven-goal win.

Dustin Plumadore stopped all 32 shots faced between the pipes to record a shutout.

“Dustin Plumadore played great in our net,” Frechette said. “He made some nice saves at key moments. I’m pleased with the overall team effort.”
