Eagles sweep Patriots in CVAC bowling

PLATTSBURGH — Winning by a combined score of 14-0, the Beekmantown boys’ and girls’ bowling teams swept AuSable Valley in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action Monday.

Ryan Munson paced the Eagles on the boys’ side, tossing a 222-224-253-699. James St. Denis (211-246-647) and Austin Delisle (215-247-641) were also significant contributions for Beekmantown in the 10-0 win.

Mike McDonald paced the Patriots with a 202 and 204, totaling a 599 series. Roger Preston (203-219-590) knocked down the second-most pins for AuSable Valley.

The Eagles claimed a 4-0 victory via forfeit on the girls’ side.

Paedyn Mattioli rolled a 223-234-624, while Cheyenne Reeves had a 222-567.
