Brittany Jarvis and Courtney Coryea each record 5 steals as Northeastern Clinton forces 28 turnovers in a 62-38 victory over Saranac.

Taylor Reynolds scores 13 points and Allen Alterie chips in with 12 as Willsboro defeats Elizabethtown-Lewis 47-41, handing the Lions their first conference loss in 3 years.

Brynn Fessette nets 28 points and Alicia Gibson adds 17 to lead Seton Catholic to a 77-55 win over Ticonderoga. It’s the Sentinels first CVAC loss in 28 games.

Chris White and Rob Hipps each score 11 points and Westport turns back Chazy 48-36 for its first victory in its new gymnasium.

Kevin O’Connell scores 2:31 into overtime enabling Seton Catholic to avenge an earlier to St. Albans BFA with a 3-2 triumph.

Heather Bessette wins 3 events, setting a new school record in the triple jump, to lead the Malone girls to victory in the Section X Indoor Track & Field Invitational.

Kelsey Moody collects 20 points and 10 rebounds while Mike Amon and Scott Murphy each chip in with 14 points as Beekmantown beats NCCS 73-68, giving first-year head coach Ryan Converse his first career win.

Lake Placid eighth-grader Arien Baker is named to the All-State Team in girls’ cross-country.

Pat Goodell steps down as varsity football coach at Plattsburgh High School.

Ogdensburg overcomes Missy West’s 36-point effort to defeat Malone 63-56.

Sophomore Heather Tenney scores 26 points to lead Elizabethtown-Lewis to a 73-64 triumph over Willsboro. Jen Sayward scores 21 for the Warriors.

Former Seton Catholic standout Scott Campbell will play Div. I hockey at Northeastern University.

25 YEARS AGO (1988)

Mike Relyea scores 12 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter to rally Moriah past MAI 75-74. Tom Olcott nets 13 and grabs 13 rebounds for the Vikings while Matt Miller and Chad Owen each tally 17 for MAI.

Kristi Allen scores 14 points and Candi Besaw collects 14 rebounds to lead AuSable Valley past previously unbeaten Peru 43-25.
