Douglas, Mattioli help Beekmantown remain undefeated

PLATTSBURGH — The Beekmantown boys’ and girls’ bowling teams remained undefeated with shutout victories against Moriah in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling Monday.

Ryan Douglas led the charge for the Eagle boys with a 706 series, which included games of 279 and 244. Matt Corrow (655) and Ryan Munson (633) each went over 600 for Beekmantown, while Dennon Walantus (528), Austin Delisle (599), Austin Recore (506) and James St. Denis (579) all went over 500 on the day.

Tanner Conley paced the Vikings with a 233-557.

Paedyn Mattioli rolled a 600 series with two games of 211 to lead the Eagle girls. Harley Wells (571), Sara Munson (510) and Alyza Agoney (530) all had a series of over 500.

Carley Newton and Kayla Joy each rolled a game of 124 to lead the way for Moriah.

PLATTSBURGH — Dalton Exford’s 600 series, with games of 236 and 202, helped the Chiefs defeat the Hornets.

Chris Fall (575) and Nick Dorrance (521) chipped in with 500 series for Saranac.

Ryan Beebie had a 446 series for Plattsburgh.

Jessica Shaffer’s 183-199-184-566 gave the Hornet girls their first win of the season.

Brooke Marbut tossed a 508 series, including a game of 196.

Taylor Duquette paced the Chiefs with a 414 series.

TICONDEROGA — Mike McDonald and Tyler Atkins each rolled 600 series to lead the Patriots over the Sentinels.

McDonald finished with a 193-214-216-623, while Atkins tossed a 211-205-186-602. Brandon Ano (554), Roger Preston (514), Jimmy Provost (546), Noah Martineau (569), Josh Taylor (573) and Ben Coolidge (574) all had strong a strong match for AuSable Valley.

Cole Frasier’s 267-178-215-660 paced Ticonderoga, with Konner Bruce adding a 212-202-226-640. Michael Lafountain (575) and Gavin Fleury (556) each had a series of over 500.
